I'm in desperate search for a yellow brick shader. I have bought one from arroway, but because the texture is rectangular and the problems of artlantis with this format (see post "ticket treatment" in the general forum) it won't work.
Does anybody know where to get a shader similar (high resolution) to the attached picture?
Or can anyone give me some hints how to work with photoshop to make a square and seamless texture out of my arroway texture? I don't know how I should get the seamlessness if I cut the rectangular texture.

I did this before and the image shows you how.
If you need more explanation... let me know.
You have to do exactly the same with the bump and other used images.

I still don't get it, what do you do with the texture? I don't understand your image, what shall be deleted and what copied? And what do you mean with transparancy?

I numbered the parts of the texture and added a yellow line where you cut part a and b.
You cut the texture the way that part-a is a square.
You use part-b (to make sure the new texture is smooth)
and place it on top of part a on the left side.
Delete part-c (if there is left)
This way the new texture will be smooth by repetition.
You can see that if you look at the yellow line of the original and new one where you put b on top of a.
The left side of part b may not be transparant,
but to make it smooth you have to make it transparant on the right side. You have to do that linear from left to right; that's the arrow on the image.
(tip: Don't start at the edge of the left side but a little form the edge.)
It is harder to explain and to do :-)
Do you need more explanation or a better example?

This example shows you the method.
(ofcourse this is not a realistic texture, because the original is not repetetive by itself, but hopefully this will explain the method I used)

The thing doing it this way is that you make the texture smaller,
and the repetitionfactor is getting worse.
The second way to make a square texture is to copy the original and add it vertically with teh same procedure.
To adjust it again you can use the previous procedure asthis image shows you.
The next image will be the second procedure.
Good luck.
I just received my arrowtextures, so I can do the same thing here :-)

thank you for this help! Seems to be a nice software, but when I tried to get the bricks I need, I couldn't adjust the color. Seems I have to use one of the prefabricated bricks, and I can't find one that is similar to the ones I need (structure and color).
By the way, when I save the texture it is also a square format, so there are again my old problems ;-)
