Hi - here is an image generated by Cinema4D - http://www.dns-plugins.de/gallery/kizo_Arscom.jpg

I am wondering how to get this sort of quality out of Artlantis Studio - in particular the realistic expanses of long grass & realistic trees.

Also how can we quickly "drape" an undulating terrain with lots of long grass? (as opposed to manually placing thousands of individual grass lump objects)

Have never seen vegetation anything close to this good in a studio rendering

unfair
what is the time to make this in C4d
what are the render times in C4d
what is the learning curve in C4d
how easy isC4d to handle
will i carry one?

Peter,

Although we are not going to use Cinema4D, but I think their Cinebench is a useful tool to see what kind of performance that our systems are capable of. You can download it here and test it out http://www.maxon.net/downloads/downloads/cinebench/cinebench-115.html
