Original size

Hi
I introduced the water reflection object a few years ago but it didn't work to well. I have now updated it for all to share. It's a simple object with a light projected through a pattern to simulate water reflections. Hope you find some useful.

Object to follow

Mike

Here is the object, just place it in your scene (out of camera) and adjust the position and light power to suit. Best used for night views.

Good luck

Hello Mike,

I'm a new user here.
With your attached, could you explain further once I place the object on the water surface shader, then I place a light with power on the side wall of swimming pool under dark environment, the light is shown up but the look/ reflection is not seem to be right as your.

Thank you.
