I have been trying to use the Vr objects tool, It will render the building fine it creates the folder in the selected path but when it is finished rendering the file just disappears along with all the un compressed .tga files!

Has anyone herd of this? or know how to fix it?

Artlantis is up to date 2.0.3?
QuickTime is up to date 7.5.5?

Are you using Windows XP 64 or Vista64? VR Objects and VR Panoramas don't work on 64bit Windows OS's.

Cheers,

I understand that the problem is actually a Quicktime problem more than an Artlantis one. I think we had a request on the Beta Testing Wish List for support for other VR formats other than Quicktime, but no luck as of yet.

In the mean while it didn't take me too long to decide that I would rather have the superior performance of Vista64 for running Artlantis than being able to use VR files.

Solaris.

Hello

i had the same problem with quick time...im using windows 7 64bits....solution...
right click on quicktime player icon
....compability tab
...change to Windows XP Service pack 3
....and enable"run it as administrator"
...windows 7 changes to Basic Mode
....just open the file you want and all works
...when you exit quicktime windows 7 change again to you previous setting.

cheers

Just for information, on Snow Leopard the latest redesigned QuickTime of version 10 (!!) doesn't read VR objects and panoramas at all... It's a "friendly" step from Apple..
