Hi Sjaak,

Do you know the best settings to use when importing the DWG file? eg. see attached image.

It maybe a dumb question, but its for a customer that uses Revit?

Best Regards

Joseph.

Joseph,

Most of the time I just use the featured import setting. You don't get measurements units info etc. from the delivering party most of the times. So that is something I work out by trial and error. If a setting does not fit my needs I import with other settings. This is mostly not the most timeconsuming thing in importing files so I do not make a lot of fuss of it. In a few minutes of trying out different settings you have your file correctly imported.

On the other hand, if it is very important to you you can best ask the delivering party what settings they used to produce the file.

Hope this answered your question.

Good stuff! I will get the guy to trail and error! I just thought there might be somthing needed to make a smooth transition as the guy did'nt give me very many details. All in all we will figure it out.

Cheers
