The default postcards don't work. When I drag and drop a material, I see it on the shader tab, but I don't see it on the 3d window. Am I doing something wrong?

I have done so but nothing happens. When I put in my postcards, they work fine. I only have problems with the new artlantis postcards that exist there by default..I can't use them
Guys, is it just me and Tol who is having this problem? Can someone please confirm of having working postcards? I just cannot understand if this is a bug or if this something going wrong on my machine...
cheers

Sjaak,
thank you very much for trying to be our helping hand here!
Our problem is actually quit simple, the solution might just not be as simple. Here is what happens. When I drag a shader from the (default)postcard to the material in the preview screen than the material becomes white instead of the shader from the postcard. See my picture in the attache file where I dragged a bricks shader from the default postcard to the car (just for the test of course).
When I use my own postcards (in my picture they are called 0557V26.jpg, 0559V06.jpg and 0851V01.jpg) then everything works fine.
For your information, I use:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32bits and 64bits
AMD 4200+ with 3GB RAM
Artlantis 2 (of course)
As you can read above, I am not the only one having this problem. What can this be?
I can add a little more information which might be important. When I click on the shader button on the toolbar (upper left), I can see that the car did got the right shader, but it is just not shown right! (see my attached picture).
I tried te render the scene, but also in the final render the car is white. Only when I drag the brick material from the shader selection the car becomes bricked. Is that expression right? :)
for the moment I can tell you this. Sjaak could reproduce the error after I send my file to him. It got a little worse, after he had opened my file, he could NOT get rid of the error anymore!
Anyway, now there are at least 3 humans on this planet having this problem. Maybe Abvent wil now start working on this, as I have send a new message to them.
