Hi Steve,
there are hundreds of free sites with furniture but best way will be to take original objects from the producers and convert them by yourselves.
Great indoor furniture you will find on the homepage of "Il Loft". They also provide their textures for this furniture: http://www.illoft.com/download_technical.php?lang=en
There are several more but the objects of these sites are perfect modeled and great looking.
All these sites need a registration and the objects hours and hours of time to texture and convert them but it's worth doing this :-)
The picture upside shows furniture from Paola Lenti.

I downloaded your objects as well as your textures.
but now I donīt know, how to combine them.
When I open the objcts in Artlantis, they look lilac - how can I bring them together with your nice textures.

Hi Sonne,
this usually should be no problem at all. Maybe you will just visit the website of Paola Lenti and have a look how this furniture is offered. With the textures I uploaded it should be no problem to texture them in the way you like.
I just opened the object "Frame_Aqua_B18Z". There are three materials visible. One material called frame with the texture "aquatech_braid_05.jpg".
One material called inox with the shader "chrome" and one material with the name pillow with the texture "linum_11.jpg".
If the aof doesn't find these textures by itself you wil just have to reapply them. You will find them in the folders with the textures. The settings are always UV-mapped with repeating x/y.
Attached you can see the same chair with just some other textures from the original textures I posted above. You will have to play a little with the settings for reflection, shininess and bump.
Cheers
Patrick

thank you very much for your instructions - but I dontīt work so often with artlantis, have never imported objects into my media folder like this before, so I donīt even understand, how the thing with this objects works...
What I did yet is to put the objects into my media folder.
do I have to put the textures even in this folder? or do Ihave to dedicate the textures in every single case in my 3D-Atlatnis-Model?
Sorry for these beginner-questions...and I hope you understand my beginner-english:-)

Hi Sonne,
Luciano is right. It will never work without reading and watching some tutorials.
And even the help of ATL explains a little about the use of objects and media.
You can place these aof and texture files where ever you want or however your system is organized. I for myself have some special folder with a lot of subfolders organizing my objects and textures.
First you will have to open the aof in ATL and texture it however you want. Second save the finished object again.
Third you will have to add your main-folder to the explorer in ATL.
After doing this you will be able to use the objects just by drag and drop.
Cheers
Patrick
