Urgent help required.

I have a ArchiCAD file that I have been developing and regularly rendering in Artlantis. (Always at the worse possible moment) the model has moved with respect to previous versions, so all my cameras, lighting etc etc are incorrectly located, which is disastrous for me. Any ideas how/why this is happening?

Artlantis will follow exactly what you have set inside the modeler software (archicad, sketchup etc). The only difference is at the camera focal view, (Artlantis focal view might be a bit narrower). Have you tried using Reference File method?

I have avoided using reference files at plug-in end - and have always relied on doing referencing and merge geometry in Artlantis ONLY. That is why I cannot understand why I am getting such results...
In ArchiCAD the origin has not moved (I have gone into old files).
Any more ideas?

Take a look at the position of the "relative origin " ...

I think Artlantis use the relative origin of the Archicad model when you save it instead of the absolute origin.

Hi,

do you have same problem? In the bottom of the picture is my model from Archicad, and on the top are my all cameras and lights. I always have this problem, when I change for a newer art-lantis. I had to put all cameras and lights again, when I changed Art-lantis 2 for Art-lantis 3, and later when I started use Art-lantis 64 bit.

Ive had a similar problem where, when working on large files, somehow I move the SCENE or it gets really distorted. Check the SCENE INFO and make sure your ORIGIN is at 0,0,0.

In my case, I believe it happens as a hiccup with low memory.
