I saw a couple of questions on this but no answer. Sorry if I didn't search the right forum. The question has to do with moving the object center (the blue dot) of a created object. How is that achieved.
i.e. I want the pivot point of an object to be its corner as opposed the geometric center so I can rotate it about it's corner.

to change the point of origin of an abject, simply open the object in Artlantis.
The go in the object menu and the you can choose the point of origin of your object, e.g. center x, y oder cameratagret. its a pulldown menu right under the endless ground.
I hope the terms I am using are correct, trying to remember what the where called since I am now using a german version.
But check out the Animation forum, I remember there were a view posts about this too, eg. when you want to rotate a door in a movie you sometimes have to change the point of origin to the pivot.
