Hi I am buying a dell precision M6400 laptop brand. Its characteristics are:

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T9600 (2.80GHz, 6M L2 Cache, 1067MHZ) Dual Core

NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M, 512MB Discrete

MEMORIA 4.0GB, DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM, 2 DIMMS
DISCO DURO 250GB Hard Drive, 7200RPM with Free Fall Sensor

This graphic card is compatible with Artlantis R?

Today Artlantis runs under Windows VISTA 64 bit but it is not optimized for it, it means you'll not get more performance between VISTA 32 bit and 64 bit with Artlantis.

Attention QuickTime (necessary for Artlantis) is not fully compatible with VISTA 64 Bit. Apple do not intend to make it compatible.

So if you want to make .mov file you will need to render images file format then make your montage into Premiere or equivalent software.

so it's better windows xp 64 bit??. And for the graphic card it has no problem de NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M with artlantis??

I work on Quadro FX 4600 and Windows XP 64 it is perfect combination to me for running artlantis.
Your card should be fine but I would suggest to get something more powerfull from Quadro range.

Maciej, I'm using Quadro fx580, is there setting needed to be done in order for Artlantis to run smoothly.
