Ive been getting new objects either 3ds or objects from archicad and opening it in Artlantis and exporting out as Aof files. but for some reason when I place the objects into scene the blue dot appears but no object. for some I found the object was so far away from the blue dot, and others it doesnt even appear even resizing it up.

Hey Jonathon, this is a little frustrating sometimes you have to find the blue dot and then move it to find your object in the 2D window. Hold D while on the blue dot to reposition it. Alternatively a new trick i have just figured out is to align the axes in a scene usually bottom of xyz of scene before i export it as an object. I hope you understand i have attached an image.
