I have been trying for a couple of days to render a neon scene. I have researched the forums and internet plus read Dwights book. In activity monitor i watch the ram get used up slowly before the crash it gets to 2.5 something then bang no dice. PS i am running snow leopard and art3 on an i7 imac. I thought the neon shader was fixed in the preview it all looks good ! PS i have 8gb ram

Here is the image i was working on, i was trying to run a neon tube around a recess in the wood at the top & bottom. I finally admitted defeat and placed large regular lights behind the wood planes. I am satisfied for the meantime i think the amount of neon was the main culprit or does this shader have a memory leak ? Ps i tried opening a support ticket but it timed out on the upload my zipped .atl archive is over 100MB.
