Artlantis version 4.5 had the option to link vr panorama's together to create a multi-room movie of linked panoramas.

In artlantis studio I'm not seeing this possibility, on the ability to create single un-linked panorama's.

Is that ability to link panoramas handled differently now, or has it been removed from the program all together? Seems like a serious downgrade if its been removed??

Any help?

I, for one, will be very disappointed if that is not in the next release.

this is really disappointing. I rely on this element for my work product. Is this planned for an upgrade? Why would such a useful feature be removed?

Well that leaves me very disappointed with abvent, since normally we expect product upgrades to increase the functionality of a software not reduce it!!!
Also very disappointing having paid extra for the studio version.

Yes, I miss the possibility to make multiple linke panorama as well. It would be great to have it (back?) in the next update.
Sjaak, maybe you know more about this?

greetings, Jeroen

Jeroen,

It is on the wishlist of the next version. However, there is hanging a shadow over this feature. For VRpanoramas and VRobjects we need Quicktime to work properly. Since the big softwarechiefs are fighting a nasty tribal war it is uncertain what this will bring for the future.

Quicktime is Apple software. VRpanorama's and VRobjects cannot be viewed with Windows Vista 64. Abvent has no influence in this battle so we don't know what it will bring.

I sincerely hope Abvent can build a solution for this so we can have linking panoramas again in the future.

Sjaak

Hi Sjaak,

Maybe it's an idea to see what Archicad does, because with that you can make linked panorama's. I don't know if they work with Vista 64-bits.
And it is always better to make linked panorama's, even though if they work only with 32-bits Windows, than making no linked panorama's at all :-)
I'll wait patiently for the next update and hope it will be there.
