I'm considering purchasing a copy of Artlantis 3.0 for Archicad from a colleague, and I'm wondering if it is possible to transfer the license, and if it can be upgraded.

Yes, if you go to the Help menu in Artlantis and select "Edit Licence", you have the option to "Deactivate Licence". This then frees up the serial number for activation on another computer. I use it regularly here in the office, we have 4 licences of Artlantis but 14 people who want to use it from time to time, so we Deactivate and Activate licences around the office every day. If your colleague deactivates the licence he want to sell you, you could then activate it on you computer.
Hi,
I also have a related problem. My system had crashed and after reinstalling it + installing Artlantis again I am unable to activate licence. The box says: no more licences available.... Do you by chance know what the problem is? My Artlantis is a 2.1 version. There is no "deactivate licence" option in the Help menu.

When your computer crashed you didn't deactivate your license. Logical, how could you.....your computer crashed.
Now you can't use artlantis on your new (or repaired) computer because the Abvent server doesn't recognise your computer as the one you used when you activated Artlantis.
In a situation like this the only thing to do is to create a support ticket so Abvent de-activates your license for you. Then you can activate the license for your new situation.
