Hey there,

I am currently working on a internal bathroom renders for a project the firm I am on my placement with are carrying out. I have began by modelling each unit (e.g. sink, toilet) to perfect the object so that when they are dropped into the room layouts there is less 'tweaking' needed.

Any advice/suggestions for improvement is more than welcome as how else will I learn! :)

The only PS'ing is the Vignette on the edges of the images.

Regards,

Richard

(P.s. I think the triangular dull tear marks at the rear of the toilet are down to my lame sketchup modelling and just duplicate layers or something equally as stupid :D )

P.s.s. Thanks to Patrick for the towel!!

Hi Richard,
the objects look good but why do you model them by yourself?
If I make a bathroom I always use the original objects from the company which produces them. Its easier and most of the products are available.
If you look into the gallery you will find a lot of good looking bathrooms to get ideas.
If you need some help just ask.
Cheers
Patrick

Could you name of a few of the companies that do this as I am not familiar with many Bathroom Companies and this would save me a looooot of time if I didn't have to model them myself.

Thanks again,

Richard

Hi Richard,
here are some of them. Maybe you have to register to get into download area. But this will work with no problem at all:

http://www.docolfaucets.com/ingles/index.php
http://www.duravit.co.uk/
http://www.hansgrohe.de/de_de/index.htm
http://www.hoesch.de/
http://www.idealstandard.de/index.html
http://pro.keramag.com/Home.english.0.html
http://www.villeroy-boch.com/index.php?L=1&C=gb&id=2675&LC=engb&radi=on&x=68&y=18
http://www.keuco.de/index.php?languageid=3

All of them provide 3d-objects. Most of them in dxf or dwg. Some are in 3ds. But all formats work with ATL.

If you have some converter this might be helpful. As far as I had to find out there are some objects not modeled perfect but I'm sure you will find what you need.

Hi,
just have a look two posts above. These are all producers of bathroom equipment where you can download for free.
Only thing you have to do is converting into aof file.
Cheers
