Use the invisible shader on the polygons that have the leavestexture attached. Then be sure that the leaftexture has an alphachannel. If not make an alphachannel in a photoeditor like Photoshop. Then in the texture mapping window check alphachannel to make the parts around the leaves invisible.

You don't need to create an invisible shader. The invisible shader comes as a standard shader with ArtLantis. You can find it in the shaders catalog in the 'a Surface'folder.
