My computer is now to small for rendering my projects. Can anyone tell me what i need in the new computer for rendering big projects. That would be very nice. I have a lot of details in my projects.
I now there must be many that are working with big projects og house any areas.

I work with a PC, Windows XP , Processor: Intel Quad Core, 3 Ram, a 256Mb graphic card, and it works pretty fast with any projects. Now it all depends on ure budget...

Thanks for the answer.
I work with project`s that are 80 mb now and my computer is a pc with Windows XP, Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7700 2.4 GHz, 3 ram, a Nvidia Quadro FX 1600M graphic card. I dont have a budget, my boss just says; Get a computer that can do the work. I just need somebody to tell me what i must go for so i don`t have to upgrade the computer again in just 1 year. :o)

Hi Helen,
Well if the boss said that... i shoud be thinking on a mac, ppl said theyre really good, it has a lot of advantages... think about Windows has a lot of issues like operating system and upgrading Ram Memory ... if i could... i get a MAC with 4 Ram.... maybe...

Thanks a lot.
Maybe I should check out the Mac then and see what they have to offer. The only thing is that I like the layout of the programs better in the computer world. I work today on the mac with a drawing program I use to draw the houses with.

Hi Heggal,
From Artlantis point of view, the number of processors and a good graphic card are also very important. Artlantis can deal up to 8 processors now, that means you can render much faster.
At my turn, I'm a Mac user and I'm very pleased with it.
