Meanwhile it's free.
Just an advice. Don't use white background for the cutouts. I always use a black background and a *bmp fileformat to create the billboards.
I just open the cutouts (PS, Gimp or something else), select the white background and fill it with black (0/0/0).
Than open BBbuilder, open the picture, open edit mask, change maskcolour to black, choose recover, apply, quit, save billboard.
Don't select a new folder. Just save the billboards you create into the BBBuilder. You can move them later. If you select a new folder befor saving the billboard will not be saved.
Wish you much success with it.
I just attached a picture of two billboards. the left one is the original from Archiradar with white background. The right woman is the new one with black background out of BBB.

Think that has nothing to do with BBbuilder. This is a problem of your settings in Windows 7.
I had same problems when I changed from XP to Win7.
When you create a billboard with BBBuilder save it in the directory of BBBuilder. After saving it over there create a folder named billboards in you ATL media folder and move the files created by BBBuilder over there.
The fact that you can't see the files in Win explorer has something to do with the security settings of this folder. Because of the fact that I'm using the german version of Win7 I don't have the english names for the single positions in the folders menu. But you can choose if you want all files to be shown and if everyone can change these files. Sorry can't explain it better but maybe you will find something about the settings of folders in google.

"90% of the plants and all of the human are billboards placed in ATL. 10% of the plants are placed in postwork.
The billboards I made by myself in BBBuilder. The cutouts I used were collected all over the net. Some were bought, some were free.
Most of them are bought at www.arcitool.de ore downloaded at vonyyx: http://vyonyx.com/category/down/cutout-trees/
But most of the cutouts I gave some postwork before making billboards out of them.
