Hi from Sydney Australia
I have an Artlantis Animation file with 13 animated Sequences
Each sequence plays perfectly within Artlantis using the Timeline
How do I get/export the set of 13 sequences to export as one movie?
So far I have managed to export a single Sequence in .avi format but on playing it back it includes part but not all of the animated objects from the next Sequence
Shock/Horror: this single 1024x768 5 second movie@ 15fps is 281 mb
Yours in mystification and in need of urgent enlightenment

If you export your animation with the H.264 codec (it is an option in the export dialogue), the file size will be smaller. Or, you could export your animation as a series of JPEGs...and import into QuickTime that way.

That said, you could separately export your 13 sequences as JPG images and import them all at once from within QuickTime Pro. Be forewarned that your file size will be humongous.

Alternatively, you could take 13 separate animations and paste them together in QuickTime Pro. Again, you are going to have a monstrous file.

That is all I know.

Thanks Adam
I also tried making one 30 second sequence and edited the paths for each of my 13 objects at different times along the timeline Brilliant I thought. Ho Hum -Artlantis efficiently started all of my objects moving from frame 1 of the animation. Is there any way to start an object moving at a particular point of time ie 6 seconds in from start, If there is it wasn't particularly obvious to a newbie.

Hi Somerville,

To be able to do what you are asking, You must be in the 'Animation inspector' first then you need to click on the 'Object inspector' then you will need to click on the object you wish to start at 6 sec. You will see that there are two key frames showing on the timeline, the left key frame is the start of the objects movement and the right key frame is the end of the objects movement. Click and drag the left keyframe to 6 sec on the time line now the object will start at that time. This method works for everything in Artlantis Studio, for lights, sun, etc etc. Hope this helps?

Regards

Joseph
