I have tried to export my artlantis file to sketchup. I could open the file in sketchup but the size of the building is bigger or sometimes smaller. Have I done something wrong in exporting?

You can control the size of the model in the information palette: Make a Ctr+I or Command + I (on Mac) and you will access the palette with general scene information.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to export a box of dimension 1000 x 1000 x 1000. It shows the correct dimension in artlantis. However when I export it to Sketchup. It has shown 2540 x 2540 x 2540.

SketchUp model must be 1 to 1 to the actual size. Make sure unit dimension are correct in SketchUp. No need to export from sketchup to artlantis. Simply open sketchup file from artlantis itself.

Thanks for your reply. However the problem is exporting artlantis file to sketch up file.(not from sketch up to artlantis). Maybe everyone could try this and check if there is similar problem?

Hi,
The scale factor 1000/2540 is the cm/inches factor!
I still got problems with the scale of the exported file and it looks like ATL does unwantedly scale 2.54 when exporting to SKP and that shouldn't be the case.
Even when I set the preferences in TAL to inches instead cm before exporting it goes wrong. (from 78.74 to 200)
This reply is to an old post. Is this a problem in ATL and still not solved or am I doing something wrong?

I am wondering if this forum is still moderated by ATl structurally or accidentally, because sometimes there is a quick response, but sometimes no response at all when a post is getting old after a while.
I am still having problems with exporting and scale to SKP :-(

I've tested the skp export from Artlantis 4 too, and it works for me...
Most of the technical problems are collected by the Support Center, developers follow up issues recorded there first of all. Therefor please contact it whenever you meet something that is not working for you.
Very often they will ask you if it happens only with the same file or with other files too. There are some sample atl files in the installation folder of Artlantis and if the problem occurs with those too, it is really worth to contact the Support Center.
