when i use rectangular tectures for creating shaders like arroway
with different x , y size ( for example width 2700 / height 900 )
when i resize the new shader it give me a distortioned maping.
When i use thextures with equal width and height (1200 /1200 )
it give a correct maping.
So in conclusion we can make new shaders to work correctly only with with square sized textures ?

Thanks i have read this :
" If the image is not square, Artlantis will stretch it to make it square."
Verry big limitation for shader creation !
Nobody expect from a software so inteligent like Artlantis
to have a such hilarious limitation .
Only square ... Oh my good.... What a shame....
I supose the Arooway texture makers are some excentric guys not making ONLY square textures in theirs Stone collection.

Respect me ! This limitation is a real artlantis problem not a MacDonalds problem and cannot be hidden to others.
I have not a complain about policies , i search some definitive answers or workarrounds .
1.
In old times artlantis have a " hidden " menu for shader manipulation . It can be accesed via typping "MNSHADER" in the shader menu and give more options than the default window.
2. The shader *.xsh file can be edited in a text editor and there you can change a lot of parameters. My question is anyone
find a trick to bypass this limitation since this shaders of non square textures work well if you dont tuch the resize slider.
In help file dont mention this aspect. You can use non suared shaders but you cannot resize corectly.

Not al the aspects for use a program are well documented in help and if you think i,m not wellcome to your forum i,l go. Sorry for disturbing you
