Hey Guys,

I've got the following problem. I want to render a project which contains a steel structure which is comparable to the one seen on the right side of the attached image. Except the structure in my project will be (i'm still editing and designing) a more organic one.

I thought the best solution was to attach a clipmap to the face of the structure but artlantis doesn't seem to recognize the fact that the image should be partly transparant. (Of course 'use alpha channels' was enabled).

Any of you guys have any experience with this problem? I'm using artlantis 3. Maybe one of you can upload a (working) clipmap so I can try that one and see if that clears the problem!

Thanks for the help

Hi Kerkwijk,

The reason that checking the alpha channel didn't work for you was that your logo image does not have an alphachannel. I added an alphachannel to it. Try it, and see if that works.

If you want to learn how to make an alphachannel then watch this tutorial. To view it you need to create a free account first.

I hope this helps you
