You can also take a look at www.objectsonline.com - They have a very extensive library of Objects available.

Hi there Jaypee,
I went to the site you posted *Archidom*, and there are some incredible objects!
However, I downloaded a collection of .3ds and .max files. I usually open the .3ds with sketchup then export to artlantis. However, they won't import to sketchup for some reason and I tried opening direct with Artlantis and that didn't work either...

I was wondering if anyone could give any advice to get these working at some of this objects would be REALLY useful!

Thanks in advance

Ok I have read all the threads in the forums that relate and looked on the internet and I have seen a couple of people with the same problem but no solution as yet...

Basically if I open the .3ds with Artlantis it tells me there *It's an unknown file type* and once I click ok it closes Artlantis... I don't understand what the problem is?! I have even tried opening them in Sketchup which I do with .3ds I export from ArchiCAD and even that is struggling...

Do you think perhaps these .3ds from Archidom could be corrupt in some way or is there a solution/completely obvious, stupid mistake I am making?

I am about to post this in the General Forum for some help, so if you have an answer please post the answer there!

Thanks guy!!
