Original size

Attached jpeg shows a basic geometry pyramid object in the scene.

The objects blue dot anchor point is centred on the base of the pyramid.

How can I move the blue dot anchor point to the apex of the pyramid?

A solution to this seemingly simple problem would be much appreciated.

Chris,

Open the object AOF in arlantis. Be in camera settings dialog window. Use the 2Dview window to set the target of your camera exactly at the point where you wish to have your anchorpoint. The best result will be achieved if you use three different views in the 2dview window. Then you will have the most accurate result
Then in the objects dialog window, look for: 'Translate origin'. Clicking the triangle will show a dropdown list. Choose: 'Camera Target'.
Now go to Menu/file/export as object.

The object will be saved with a new anchor point. Be wise and choose another name for the new object.

I hope this helps you
