Hi all,
I discovered that when I try to merge geometry from file after a while I get a runtime error and the program crash.
Anyone else with the same problem? Is this some kind of bug?

Anyone else guys?
Is there someone who can use the command "merge geometry from file" without problem?
If you have the same problem please post here so we can prompt Abvent to solve it.

As you see on my post title the version is 3.0.2.1
Isn't that the latest one?
I have to tell you that 2 of my colleagues working in 2 different pcs and version of windows (xp and 7) have the same issue.

Using 3.0.2.1 and have a big project with several buildings. Each building was modeled separately. I can merge them but when I try to save the file (*.ATL), Artlantis crashes.

Mr. Chris, I had your same problem but nobody has been able to resolve even the Abvent. The only answer they gave me and that is a bug that will be adjusted with the next release. I still I have resolved this way. I state that I use AutoCAD and ADDCAD as applicable.
1-export the drawing in 3ds;
2-artlantis the amount 3ds;
3-Texturizer and others;
4-if I add a new item solid at the same drawing, add to the original AutoCAD, export it to 3ds and then open as new design atl;
5-save it as a drawing apart;
6-Open the file and the original amount atl atl the second "merge with geometry from file".
Funzine and you'll see that applications starting materials without crashing. Essert I hope helped.
Piero
(I used a translator, I apologize for errors)

Thanks for your answer. Of course you can do as you suggested but I don't think that this is the best solution (though it might be the only one for the moment). What really bothers me is that Abvent as you said, knows about it but nobody took the time to write something to my post. After all, our problem reports and suggestions to this forum is for making Artlantis a better software.

Hi, I´not using version 3.0.2.1, but I had several problems merging geometry from SKP to ATL. I solved using the ATL V2 exporter for all the geometry I wanted to add to the model.
Did not had a crash problem, just the absence of the imported geometry, but strangely it worked OK with this workaround.
Hope it works for you.
