Artlantis render 2.1 quits everytime I open a file. I am using windows xp sp3, nividia geforce 9600 DDR3 graphics card with 512mb, 4gig ram, intel duo core processor, gigabyte motherboard, sata hard drive.
I have tried to set preferences to automatic preview and turned off the open gl as suggested elsewhere in the forum but to no success.

Un installing quicktime 7.6 and installing a lower version seems to have lowered the possibilty of a crash. I can work in the environment upto existing.However, the file still crushes when quitting artlantis with the following message " something bad has happened to the file"
