ArchiCAD X Files with Artlantis 4.5

Hi I'm desperately looking for something simpler than the 3ds for conversion of Archicad 10 files to Artlantis 4.5. I have downloaded the trial version of Artlantis R however the learning curve is rather steep... and deadlines rather imminent.

HELP?

Is there some way to import to 4.5 from 10 without having to select every separate entity? It gets to be a bit tedious with a couple THOUSAND elements in your model.
