I'm running Archicad 12 on Windows and am trying to have it work with Artlantis 3.0, but even after several tries of installing/uninstalling all programs I still can't get it to work with the provided plugin.
I don't understand why but even after following all the instructions on how to install the plug in, I still can't get the format choice of Artlantis Render-Studio 3. The readme file specifies that the "Artlantis Render Studio 3 Out.apx" is to be copied into the "Extensions\Import-export" but my computer for some reason named the folder "Add-ons".

I have a similar problem with Artlantis Studio 3.0, and I'm guessing that I have followed all the instructions. However, I can't see the "artlantis" extension in AC12 when I select the "save as" menu.
As you see in the attached screen capture I have the dll file in the main AC12 folder and the apx file in the import/export folder.

Hi Ara,
you have to be in the 3D View in Archicad and then go to "save as". The way your screenshot looks, you are in 2D.
Hello! Watch this problem: I'm saving the image in the 3D window, but does not appear the option to export to artlantis 3; this same error happens on my desktop (XP 64) and the notebook (Vista 32), thank you.
"The file extension is an outdated that can not be used with this version of ArchiCAD"

1. Download the Artlantis 3 plugin Zip from this site.
2. Unzip the .apx file from the Zip to C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 12\Add-Ons\ArtLantis3 folder (you have to make the Artlantis3 folder, it does not exist)
3. Unzip the CAtl3.dll file from the Zip to C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 12 folder
4. All this WITHOUT the ArchiCAD running, of course
5. Follow the instructions at the link that Ildiko posted

Hi I'm getting the same problem with Artlantis 3 Plugin for Archicad 13, is it possible to try the same thing for mac.

Here are the instructions for Mac (from the readme of the plug-in):
Mac installation:
Put the add-on "Artlantis Render Studio 3 Out.apx" into the Import-export folder of ArchiCAD 13.
NB: If into the Import-export folder the filled "Artlantis Render Studio 3 Out" without apx extension already exists, please delete it to avoid an add-on conflict when launching ArchiCAD.
... and don't forget, that the Save as command has to be launched from the 3D window.
