First of all turn the shadows on. You have to check the box "shadows" for every light you use.

By the way, for this kind of questions try the general forum. This one (wip) is for users to show their work.

Hi Chris,

In case you don't know the meaning of WIP; this means Work In Process. Well... this is a work in process and he wants some advise how to process his work better.
If you want to SHOW your (finished) work than you better expose it to the gallery.

Cheerz!

Dear Jaypee, If you read the description of the forum it says : "Forum where users can share and comment on projects and pictures." Which one of the above is the case of Lee?
Is he sharing his finished work with us and looking for some comments to improve it? According to my opinion Lee is a very new user to Artlantis who propably hasn't even looked at the tutorials this site offers. He is trying to take his first steps in Artlantis and he is asking questions we all had the first days we used it like: what does this program do and how. I don't think this is the purpose of this forum.
So I don't understand why he shouldn't better post his issue to the general forum?
If you check the history of the WIP forum I am sure you will agree with me.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

First of all I second your opinion about checking first (all) the tutorials on the Artlantis site and also search the forum for "problems' alike beforehand.

Second, Lee is showing his Work In Process (WIP) so in this case it's NOT forbidden to place his question in this section of the forum. Ofcourse he also COULD put his question in the General section. No argue about that.

You are right about the history of the WIP section but actually those who only want to expose their finished work and show other users to show how good they are, better put that teriffic work in the gallery as Sjaak (our former moderator) often mentioned.

Finally, don't let us argue about this further and let's help Lee 'cause you never know he could help us one day...

Cheerz!
