Attachment : Animasyon deneme 1.mp4

Hi all. I am trying and testing artlantis since 2 version. i made a 3d model for my project on Archicad 13 and made a small animation for 15 sec with 25fps. i made it as mov format and it took 6 hours and when it's finished has more than 450mb :) using a video converter it decreased to 3mb. So what's the point able to prevent taking so much time and getting huge file size. Thx...

Hi, it's a nice first trial :) How many frames does it contain?
To shorten the rendering time, you may set the anti-aliasing setting to Low for example, and set the compression: H264 recommended.
Other tip: use the Batch rendering application to calculate the final movie.

Thx a lot. Contains 375 frame 25fps x 15s = 375 frame When i run batch rendering for animation i saw the total time but i wasn't agree that timing is correct but it was. This is good point. will try compression method as you said next time...

PS: I have another question about opening file on mac prepared an artlantis file on windows platform. When i try to open on my friend's mac it takes so much time and i saw on screen artlantis searching textures used in project as windows platform paths. But there is no path on mac like windows platform. After approximately half an hour later project opens. What can we do about this problem? Sometimes i need to work on mac especially big projects because macs have really big performanca almost %30 less time (even i have Q6600 2.4 quadcore 8mb cache and 8gb 1600mhz ddr3 rams and 4870 1gb ddr5 vga card,4tb harddisk).

hi tomeytos,

I had the same problem when opening atl-files.
It tooks several minutes until it was open..
By clicking several times on the menue, where the program is searching textures etc. the procedure was over in some seconds and the file opened.

Hope it helps..

Some seconds sounds reasonable, but half an hour is too much to open a file on a Mac... I change from Mac to PC quite often and never had similar issues...
I would suggest to save archive file whenever you transfer files, this way you may shorten the opening time. Archive = File > Export as Archive means that all shaders, objects and images will be saved next the atl file.

Hi again. Thx for all replies. Exporting object as archive means that searching all shaders in project folder when opening atl file?!? If it's ok it solves that problem...
