I have read a previous post about those arroway textures that some people make them smaller in photoshop by cropping them.
Because i know that those textures are seamless, and consisted by many layers(bump, spec, dif), after the procedure to make them smaller are the textures going to work ok?The procedure is that simple?just cropping?
I ask all of these because i am interested in buying and i think my pc is not so good.
Thanks in advance.

hi vaios, I never said cropping the textures... I've just said "changing the size"... if you crop I think maybe you lost the seamless... So just change the size, for example, to 50% and then, in ART, change it again to x2, to get the right size but half the resolution.
Hallo guys. I was out for a period-i'm back again.
I need some help with those textures.Lets say about the stone texture, they come with b020+p050,d100 and s100+g100 PNG files. So b is for bump d for diffuse ,s specular, g and p ? for what?
And what setings are the best ? not in shader but if i want to use them together but seperatly? and what if i make a shader?
Thanks in advance

I need some help too with those textures.
Making shaders and using them in a model works, but very hard with a lot of waiting and restarting the program a few times.
Are the textures with high resolution (appr. 8000x3500 px) too much for Artlantis or is my configuration too slow?
Quad6600, 4gB RAM, GeForce GTS 640 should be nough, not?
