Activation of Artlantis 2 key-server license on Mac OS X and Windows: Requirement: - A single network with Mac and/or PC workstations connected (Important: no sub-network!) - Specific "key-server" serial number - The Artlantis KeyServer application located in the Artlantis directory. Step 1 - Activate the network license on a server - Install the license. On a LAN, select the computer that will act as the server*, then launch the Artlantis KeyServer application from the installed Artlantis folder. NB: The server can be any computer connected to the network. It is best to select a computer that is connected to the Internet. - Click 0n "Edit License…" The License Manager will display.

Activation over the Internet:

- Enter the key-server serial number (composed of two numbers separated by a dash) that is shown on your registration card or was e-mailed to you. Then click on "Activate License." A message will confirm the successful activation. Manual activation: This method will be applied in the event you are unable to connect to the Internet.

- Locate the serial number (composed of two numbers separated by a dash) that is shown on your registration card or was e-mailed to you. - Jot down the identification number located in the license handler (this number is encrypted). - Connect to the Internet and go to the Artlantis activation site at: http://activation.artlantis.com - Once the activation page appears, enter the identification number that you had written down earlier, then click on "Connect to server."

You will receive a license number that you should copy and paste into the "Enter your Activation code" field of the license handler.

NB: In order to use Artlantis on client workstations, the Server must be activated and Artlantis KeyServer launched. NB: Artlantis KeyServer must be launched only on the server workstation. The server identification number is activated only once on client workstations. NB: The Artlantis KeyServer application and Artlantis can run simultaneously on the same computer. Step 2: Intall Artlantis on the client workstations - Make sure that the Artlantis KeyServer application is launched on the server. You can now launch Artlantis on the client computers. - Click on the "Check Network" to find an available key. If there is an available license on the server, the application will activate immediately.

Potential problems: When updating Artlantis, you have to manually stop the Keyserver application on the server machine before installing and activating the updated version.
